I am a registered architect with the states of South Carolina and Michigan. I have worked on many homes within the city of Charleston and the surrounding low country including Edisto Beach, Summerville and many cities in between. My office is fully computerized and I work with the AutoCad program. When you work with my office, you work solely with me. I am the designer, the one who draws the construction documents and answers the phone when you have questions. I am the architect who helps you through bidding, selecting a contractor and finally construction. I am here to guide you through the process as smoothly as possible. My services are not as expensive as others mainly because I work out of my home and keep my costs to a minimum. I am detailed oriented and document the entire design and construction process. If you would like to contact one of my many clients for a reference please feel free to email me.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees. As an extra bonus I concentrated in historic preservation during my Masters program. I also studied modern Danish architecture while studying abroad during my Masters program. I have traveled extensively through Europe, Africa, and Central America. I am a member of the Preservation Society of Charleston, National Trust, and AIA CRAN (Custom Residential Architectural Network). I am quite confident I can meet the design needs of any home renovation or new construction process.
As a firm, Clark-Glidewell/Architect concentrates on residential design. Over the years, I have also completed many historic storefront restorations and a few commercial projects, including theaters in the Charleston area. I have been in business for over 12 years and have been a registered architect for over 20 years.
